The Legend of the Filí Notebook (Large)

This leather effect notebook displays an embossed harp design with decorative border on the front and back covers. The 128 pages are of quality paper and are lined, with two ribbons to mark individual pages. There is an information page on the role of the filí (poet) in early Irish society. The filí were responsible for the oral transmission of Irish lore and learning and could recite hundreds of lines of poetry as part of their role a king's retinue. H 20.5cm W 15.5cm D 3cm.
